Compliance Dashboard
Six compliance frameworks. One dashboard. Quorate adapts to your organisation type — parish councils see AGAR, schools see Ofsted governance, charities see Charity Commission requirements. Always audit-ready.
The problem
Compliance is anxiety-inducing because it happens once a year but depends on things you did (or forgot to do) throughout the year. Did we review the risk register? Did we adopt the code of conduct? Can we prove we published the bank reconciliation? The evidence is scattered across emails, filing cabinets, and memory.
AGAR dashboard
The Annual Governance and Accountability Return is the single most important compliance obligation for parish councils. Quorate presents all 9 AGAR assertions with evidence drawn automatically from your meeting records, financial data, and governance activity.
Each assertion shows green (evidence found), amber (partial evidence), or red (no evidence). The clerk can drill into each assertion to see exactly what evidence exists and what is missing. At year-end, the dashboard produces an evidence pack for the auditor.
Transparency Code
Councils with income under £25,000 must comply with the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities. Quorate tracks the 5 mandatory publication requirements and flags anything missing from your public portal.
The checklist covers: annual governance statement, end-of-year accounts, bank reconciliation, budget vs actuals, and register of interests. Each item links directly to the relevant document or page on your public portal.
Ofsted governance evidence
School governing bodies need to demonstrate effective governance to Ofsted. Quorate tracks attendance rates, decision quality, governor training records, and financial oversight — all the evidence an inspection team looks for.
The Ofsted governance dashboard shows: meeting attendance percentage, governor training completion rates, committee coverage, financial challenge evidence from minutes, and safeguarding oversight records.
Charity Commission readiness
Charities must file annual returns, report serious incidents, and maintain trustee records. Quorate tracks these obligations and alerts when deadlines approach.
The charity compliance dashboard covers: annual return deadline, trustee register currency, conflict of interest declarations, financial reporting readiness, and serious incident reporting.
Companies House filings
Limited companies and CICs must file confirmation statements and annual accounts. Quorate tracks filing deadlines and ensures board meeting records support the filings.
The dashboard shows upcoming filing deadlines, tracks director appointments and resignations for the confirmation statement, and ensures annual accounts have been approved by resolution at a board meeting.
Evidence packs
When the auditor arrives — or Ofsted calls — you need evidence quickly. Quorate generates a compliance evidence pack as a single PDF with meeting records, attendance data, financial summaries, decision logs, and policy review dates.
The evidence pack is generated on demand and covers the most recent financial year, with a summary page showing compliance status followed by supporting evidence organised by assertion or requirement.
