This accessibility statement applies to the Quorate platform at https://quorate.app and every tenant subdomain (https://*.quorate.app).
Quorate is run by Quorate Limited. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this service.
How accessible this website is
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2, Level AA). At the time of writing this statement we believe the platform substantially meets that standard. We document below the parts that we know are not yet fully compliant, what we are doing about them, and how to ask for content in an alternative format if you need it.

The platform has been designed to meet a colour-contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. Branding controls in the officer portal enforce this ratio when an organisation customises its theme colours — colour combinations that would fail the ratio are blocked before they are saved.

Quorate Limited is a private-sector platform, but many of our customers are public-sector bodies subject to the accessibility regulations. We treat WCAG 2.2 AA as our baseline so those customers can meet their statutory duties.

The content listed below is non-accessible for the reasons given.
1. PDF meeting packs uploaded by users are not always tagged for screen-reader navigation. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships) and 1.3.2 (Meaningful Sequence). We are working with our pack-generation pipeline to apply structural tags to all packs produced by the platform; user-uploaded PDFs remain the responsibility of the uploader, but we provide guidance in the officer portal.
2. Some embedded video players in the public portal do not currently carry captions. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.2.2 (Captions - Prerecorded). Where the embedding organisation has supplied captions we surface them; where they have not, the video plays without them. We are adding a publication-time check that warns organisations before they publish uncaptioned video.
3. The live-meeting workspace uses a live region with `aria-live="polite"` to announce attendance and motion-status changes. In very long meetings these announcements can accumulate and overwhelm screen-reader users. We are scoping a quieter mode that batches announcements.

Third-party content embedded in tenant subdomains (e.g. a council embedding a YouTube video on their public portal) is the responsibility of the embedding organisation.
